Digital session: Environment Protection Alliance

Slobodanka Cucić is Corporate Affairs Manager in Apatinska Brewery Molson Coors. She attended doctoral studies in the field of law at the Faculty of Law, University in Ghent, Belgium. She has longtime experience in various industries related to beverage production. She has been engaged in Apatinska Brewery since 2015 as Corporate Affairs Manager. Along with managing the company projects, Slobodanka is also in charge of sustainable business and socially responsible activities, crisis communications and relations with the Government and other company partners. As company representative in various associations, she advocates the application of Circular Economy principles and all principles regarding the environment protection and preservation. She was one of the first attendees of the Circular Economy Academy. From 2011 to 2014 she worked in Coca-Cola HBC Public and Corporate Affairs Manager. 

Jelena Kiš is the Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs Manager for Central and Eastern Europe in Ball Packaging Europe. Jelena represents Ball at regional forums and in professional associations in the following countries: Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, countries in the region and Serbia. As part of Ball's European sustainability team, she works on relevant initiatives together with Ball customers, as well as on sustainable business programs within the company itself.  She graduated and obtained a Master's degree in Zagreb at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, being MsC of Biology, department of Ecology. She worked as a Manager in international organization „Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe” dealing with environment protection and waste management projects. She started working for Recan foundation for beverage can recycling in 2005, she started the "Every can counts" campaign in Montenegro in 2013, extending it to Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia in 2017.  In Serbia, she works on defining the legislation needed for waste packaging recycling, with the aim of increasing the share of recycled cans, and supports the work of Recan foundation.

Aleksandar Milikić was born in 1982. He graduated on Technical faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade and he holds a title graduated engineer of industrial informatics. From 2007 to 2009, he was owner of a private company, and in the same period, he designed and put into operation first local Wi-Fi network. He initiated founding of the Youth office in Bor and in 2010 became its first coordinator. Two years later, he developed Local youth action plan. In 2012 he takes over the position of the action director of public company “Tourist Center of Bor”, where he initiated and organizes work of ski center Crni Vrh. He continued his professional career as director of “Samački smeštaj” Ltd in Bor. He was elected the president of Municipality of Bor in 2017, which later gets a status of the City. Since 2018, Aleksandar Milikić is Mayor of Bor. He is married and father of three children.

Bojana Perić is General Manager at Ekostar Pak national waste packaging operator, a member of Kappa Star Group, founded by companies Jaffa Crvenka and Carboard Mill Umka, which cooperates with more than 830 companies. As an Environmental Protection Engineer and Sanitary Engineer, she started her career in 2007 in the department for quality in Delta Maxi, being responsible for establishing and monitoring food safety system and quality control in the supply chain, from purchase to distribution and sales. In 2009, she continued her professional development at the position of Environmental Protection Manager at Delhaize Serbia, where her duties included guidance and leading of local strategy in the area of environmental protection. She has led and participated in different projects with the purpose of increasing recycling rate according to the Zero Waste Strategy and Sustainable Retailing later. Establishing programs for food donation to people and animals led to the total decreasing of food waste. She has been engaged in the development of sustainable resources according to the climate change actions. She has been actively involved in changes and improvement of legal framework and regulations in the waste management area as a member of different work groups.  

Bojan Gligić is the Regional Manager of Eso Tron, which is the leader in the region in harmless disposal of non-dangerous waste, hrough treatment which turns waste into green energy while successfully reducing the emmission of greenhouse effect gases, and making a positive impact in fighting global warming.  Bojan is in charge of client relations and the development of sustainable solutions for waste management with significant reduction of the „CO2 footprint“ created by the industry and other businesses. Bojan actively cooperates with companies from Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Germany and all countries in the region. He completed graduate studies in Novi Sad earning a management degree, and post-graduate studies in Trieste in risk management. During his studies he actively participated in European Commission projects for the development of IPA program investments for the candidate countries.  Bojan worked in Philip Morris as a Business Builder from 2013 to 2015, later moving on to C&A as Branch Manager, continuing his career in  Eso Tron since 2017, finding his ambition in environment protection and defining his goal for affirming renewable energy sources. In 2019, the Eso Tron team represented by Bojan won a prestigious United Nations award within the project "Local development resistant to climate change", realized in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment Protection and the UNDP Representative Office in Serbia.
