Draft plan for the development of digital healthcare was presented

Policy Director at NALED, Jelena Bojović, presented the draft operational plan for the progress of a digital healthcare development program with an action plan at the first session of the Coordination Body for the Digitization of the Healthcare System.

In addition to the development program, 32 members of this group had the opportunity to get acquainted with the results so far in the field of digitalization of healthcare - eRecipe, immunization notification system for COVID 19, but also with plans to improve electronic instructions and the introduction of eSickleave.

At the meeting, a decision was made to establish two working groups to develop a program and action plan for a unique electronic medical chart. Adoption of the Program is expected by July.

The Coordination Body was formed after many years of efforts invested by NALED and its Healthcare Alliance to establish a joint group involving the public and private sectors in the field of healthcare.

This working group is chaired by Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar is the Deputy Chairman, while NALED has been appointed to provide professional support together with the Prime Minister's Office and the Office for IT and eGovernment. Representatives of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, the Institute of Public Health "Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut", the Initiative "Digital Serbia", the AmCham, the Foreign Investors Council, the Nordic Business Alliance, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Patients' Associations, the Medical Chamber, the Chamber of Healthcare Facilities, the Pharmaceutical Chamber and the Chamber of Nurses and Technicians, are also involved.
