Advisory Board

Dragana Čukić was born in 1968. She graduated and earned a Magister degree at the Faculty of Construction Engineering in Belgrade – constructions department, later continuing professional engagement at the Faculty, as Assistant Professor at the Department of Metal Constructions, until 2006. She is the author of a large number of scientific and professional papers. Since 2000, she has developed a rich career, ranging from Project Manager to Managing Director positions, in the field of project management and real estate development, working on the realization as one of the largest portfolios in the region (total value ca. EUR 600 million) within Delta Holding. In August 2012, together with her partners she started a consulting company JAI Development & Consulting. She was the President of Supervisory Board and a member of Presidency of JDGK (Yugoslav Society of Constructors). Since 2010, she has been a member of Managing Board in ACES – Association of Consulting Engineers of Serbia. She is one of the initiators and active stakeholders in introducing Eurocodes into our construction industry, and since 2014, as expert associate to NALED and USAID, she took part in the construction permitting reform. She has been a member of NALED Managing Board from 2016 to 2021.

Dragana Žarković Obradović has been the director of BIRN Serbia since 2007. During that time, BIRN became one of the leading media organizations in the country. For its work, the BIRN editorial office has received the most prestigious domestic and world awards in the field of investigative journalism. Prior to joining BIRN, Dragana worked as a journalist, producer, and later as a program manager for international media and anti-corruption organizations. She is the author and editor of several journalism manuals and a certified trainer for good governance programs. She is also in charge of developing a scholarship program for journalists within the BIRN regional network. Dragana studied Comparative Literature, and professionally improved by participating in numerous international trainings for journalists and media managers.

As a member of NALED’s first Managing Board and a current member of Advisory Board, he has provided continuous support to our organization’s development and strength, through 15 years of Smart kolektiv’s membership in NALED. He heads the organization recognized as a leader in the field of socially responsible work, sustainable economy and social entrepreneurship. Cooperation between NALED and Smart kolektiv has led to development of the first corporate social responsibility standard and a Draft Law on social entrepreneurship. During the COVID-19 pandemic we launched a joint initiative for abolishing VAT for food donations and improving the conditions for donations in general. He easily builds partnership with NALED members from all sectors, thanks to his outstanding leadership, mentorship and social marketing skills. Widely recognizable and favourite among colleagues as he approaches all tasks and challenges with enthusiasm and motivating humour. With movie star charm and a talent for public appearance, he traditionally holds the role of the host of NALED’s September Gathering.

Vladan Vasić was born in Pirot in 1971, where he finished elementary school and high school. He graduated from the Faculty of Electronics in Niš in 1996 and then earned a Magister degree at the Faculty of Economy in Niš in 2003. He is married and father of three children. Upon finishing his studies, he worked in Industry of Clothes "1 Maj" for six years. He became engaged in politics in 2000, as a Chancellor in the Municipal Assembly of Pirot, and in 2003 he won at the first direct Mayor elections, becoming one of the youngest Mayors in the history of Pirot. Since 2013 he has been a member of NALED Managing Board and a member of Presidency of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, and with him as a leader, Pirot became a certified business friendly municipality in South East Europe. The municipality is distinguished by its many realized investments, projects with the European Union and through cross-border cooperation.

Born in 1966 in Belgrade and graduated from Belgrade Mechanical Engineering Faculty. He started his professional career as a process engineer at Lola Engineering company and later at Komtek, from which he transferred to ComTrade. Starting as Product Manager, and later becoming CEO of its Montenegro branch, he became the director general of ComTrade’s Spinnaker New Technologies in 2003. In 2008 he became Vice President of a company that deals in the system integrations and software business. Transferring to the Siemens, he became manager of the Public Sector and Health at the company’s IT section. Following acquisition by Atos he was placed as SAP director for Western Balkans. Since 2013, he has worked as SAP Regional Director for South East Europe, responsible for its entire business in 10 countries. He is finalizing his PhD studies in Operations research at the University in Belgrade. He has been a member of NALED Managing Board since 2015. He is married and has one daughter.
