E-Government Alliance

It was formed with the aim of defining businesses’ recommendations for improving the business environment in Serbia through developing electronic government and electronic services, promoting and supporting the improvement of e-Government in Serbia. The Alliance takes an active role in creating and monitoring the implementation of the Government's Action Plan for eGovernment Development 2023-2025, the key and strategic document in the domain of eGovernance in Serbia.

The eGovernment Alliance's goals are:

  • Strengthening information security in the public and private sectors;
  • Enhancing and further developing electronic services, functionalities, and user experience on the eGovernment Portal and other state portals;
  • Enabling electronic and cashless payment of all public services;
  • Actively supporting the state in increasing the readiness of officials and citizens to provide and use eServices;
  • Establishing modern digital infrastructure through support for the deployment of next-generation networks, development of rural broadband, and facilitation of conditions for installing mobile telephony base stations (RBS);
  • Introducing a digital wallet and ensuring mutual recognition and use of domestic and foreign qualified electronic certificates for signing;
  • Creating conditions for the systematic application of artificial intelligence in improving public services and private sector operations;
  • Defining and monitoring the fulfillment of standards for the introduction of electronic services in local governments;
  • Storing state applications and data in the state cloud storage;
  • Systematically introducing and implementing the smart city concept in Serbia, with active support for the development of smart solutions;
  • Opening and enabling the reuse of data in Serbia.

  • Working group for information security and digital infrastructure.

At the constitutive session of the Alliance for eGovernment, held on November 28, 2024, the new members of the presidency, who will serve in this role for the next two years, were introduced.
