[RTV] StarTech project: Million dollars for the most innovative companies in Serbia

The first annual open call for grants worth one million dollars within the StarTech program supporting innovations and digital transformation is open until June 4, 2021, said Dušan Vasiljević, Entrepreneurship and Investments Director at NALED, for RTV.

The five million dollars support project is provided by Phillip Morris International (PMI) and is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, as well as startups ready to invest in the development of innovative products and services. Even unregistered entrepreneurs can apply for the open call if they can offer an innovative solution. The first million dollars will be given in grants from 15,000 to 100,000 dollars, stated Vasiljević.

Vasiljevic reminded everyone who is interested that the application is open until June 4 and he invited them to apply through the website startech.org.rs by the end of the month because in that case, they will be able to count on the help of the organization "Eneca" in developing their applications. The winners of the open call will be selected based on the factors such as whether their innovation has global or local potential, whether it can contribute to job creation and export growth, and whether it can contribute to the well-being of the entire community. The final decision will be made by a team composed of eight top experts in the field of innovation, digital transformation and entrepreneurship, and the results will be known in September.
