A comparative overview of economic measures: How the Western Balkans is fighting the consequences of COVID-19

Since the beginning of the crisis caused by the coronavirus, almost all countries have adopted a set of measures aimed at protecting the health of citizens, preserving jobs and supporting the economy.

Deferral of payments of wage tax and contributions, facilitated access to loans, direct assistance to small and medium enterprises are just some of the types of support that countries have provided to the private sector.

Find out how the countries of the Western Balkans and the rest of Europe reacted to the economic consequences of COVID-19 and what key measures were taken in the new infographic, prepared as part of the "Prepare to Participate" project. The project is implemented by the Center for European Policies (CEP), the European Western Balkans portal and NALED, with the support of the European Union.
